Weight Loss Check In

Good Morning!!! I pray that each of you have a BLESSED day!!


I know I don’t check in or post as often as I use to. To be honest, I’m in a season of my life where I’m trying to find balance. Trying to balance being a wife, being a mom, growing in Christ, working full time and STILL have time to eat right, workout, have a little “me time” and get to bed at a decent hour. It’s been a STRUGGLE, but I’m not discouraged and I’m not giving up.


Of course, this weight loss journey has not gone as expected. There have been many ups and downs, and a lot falling down and getting back up. Each time I’ve gotten back up, I’ve had to re-evaluate and switch up some things.


Currently, I’m still working on having a healthy relationship with food. I’m trying to get rid of the “all or nothing” mentality. I’m trying to learn that it’s okay to eat a brownie or go out to dinner with friends without fear of falling off the wagon. While food addiction is REAL, I also know that my REAL God is able to deliver and keep me in this area.


So
.I’m taking things one day at a time. I’m learning, growing and getting stronger. I won’t lie I’m still chasing a number on the scale because I am DETERMINED to get under 200 pounds. However, I am not putting a timeline on this journey. I will get there when I get there. đŸ€·đŸŸâ€â™€ïž


In the meantime in between time, I will enjoy ALL of my nonscales victories.


đŸ”” Being able to fit into a size 14 that didn’t squeeze my stomach and take 5 minutes to wiggle into.

đŸ”” Having more definition in my face and neck. (Do y’all see that collar bone coming through!!!)

đŸ”” Feeling more confident in my body.


I do have some goals that I want to start working on though.


🟡 I want to start back working out. (I have not done a REAL workout since like the first week of December)

🟡 The goal is to get back to working out 5 times a week. I plan to do cardio 2 days a week and strength training 3 days a week.

🟡 I also want to get back to making my step goal of 10,000 steps a day.

🟡 I also want to get back to posting and blogging my journey. (That is hard đŸ˜©, the only reason I had time to really post today is because we have a snow day and my kids and husband are still sleep).
